| Here is a Herpa Blue Bird model based upon a bus that was frequently used as a spare, even when it was new. It was assigned to a reguler route later on. The real bus #108 had a rear end that was very similar to that of an RE but instead of an engine being there, there was a nice large storage compartment. The Sunnyside model isn't bad for the $3.99 I paid for it. When I got it, I was less than thrilled but a new paint job with properly placed rubrails did the trick.. |
